ADHDwear
The cause · for ADHD people everywhere

Give to ADHD education and understanding.

Most of the damage ADHD does is done by people who don't understand it, including the person who has it. We put money against that: plain-language resources, school and workplace awareness, and help for people who can't afford it. 100% of your donation goes to the cause. ADHDwear adds 5% of the proceeds from every wearable and every piece of apparel it sells.

Secure checkout by Stripe. ADHDwear is a company, not a charity, so a gift is not tax-deductible unless your receipt says otherwise. We publish what came in and where it went every quarter, here.

Where it goes

  • Plain-language education. Free guides, videos and the Loop explainers that say what ADHD actually is, for partners, parents, teachers and bosses.
  • Schools and workplaces. Awareness sessions and materials for the places where ADHD people get punished for having ADHD.
  • People who can't afford help. Wearables and coaching sessions given, not sold, to people who ask and can't pay.

We are choosing a nonprofit partner for the direct-help part so that gifts can become tax-deductible. Until then everything is tracked and reported here.

Questions

Why 5% and not more?

Because it has to survive the first production run. Five percent of proceeds is paid on every order before anything else, from day one, and it goes up when the hardware is paying for itself.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet. ADHDwear is a company. When a nonprofit partner is in place, gifts routed through it will be, and your receipt will say so.

Can I donate a wearable to someone?

Yes. Donate the price of a Clip ($69) and add a note that says "give one"; we hand it to someone on the list who asked and couldn't pay.

How do I know the money went where you say?

Every quarter we publish totals in, totals out and who received them on this page, and email it to everyone who gave an email.
